In September 2006, Centrepoint Alliance acquired Esdale Sinclair & Associates in a move to expand its operations in central Queensland.

The company was formed in September 2005 from the merger of Centrepoint Finance and Alliance Finance Corporation, and is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Alliance Finance was founded in Perth in 1991. It was a pioneer in insurance premium funding and also provided professional fee funding and equipment finance.
